WE WILL SHUTDOWN SOUTHEAST IF MAZI KANU IS NOT BROUGHT TO COURT BY OCTOBER– IPOB

Agitators group, the Indigenous People of Biafra,IPOB has issued a one-month sit-at-home protest threat in the South-East should its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, is not conveyed to court on October 21.

The statement was made by the Media and Publicity Secretary of the group,  Emma Powerful yesterday.

In his words, IPOB obtained from a credible source that the DSS would not take Kanu to court on October 21 as a trick to keep him perpetual detention.

‘The government of Nigeria cannot unlawfully detain our leader and anticipate things to be fine. Should by 21 October, chief Nnamdi Kanu is not taken to court, Nigeria will understand that Kanu commands an unreserved loyalty of over 60m  Biafrans at home and in abroad,’ he stated.
