POLICE SOLICIT FOR PRAYERS AS KIDNAPPERS ADOPT 73 ZAMFARA STUDENTS
Security agency in Zamfara State has verified the kidnapping incident in Government Day Secondary School, Kaya, in which 73 students are involved
The incident scene, Kaya is a community in Maradun LGA, zamfara state.
Confirming the incident, the police spokesman in zamfara, Mohammed Shehu, said a huge number of kidnappers overran the school around 11:22 am on Wednesday.
Mohammed said that Ayuba Elkanah, the Commissioner has sent a search and rescue squad to work in collaboration with the military to rescue the students.
The Commissioner begged the general public, especially parents and relatives of the kidnapped students ‘to maintain patience and remain in prayer for the smooth operation of the ongoing rescue mission.’
Kaya village and environs have been long reinforced with security operatives to forestall further invasions.
