With the 2023 general election by the side, politicians around Nigeria are already getting to take over the herm of affairs from President Muhammadu Buhari.
Having this in view, some Lieutenants Army generals; some serving and others retired are possibly joining the Race for the Presidential polls.
Among them are:
Bello Abdulrahman Dambazau. He is a retired Nigeria Army general and politician that operated as Chief of Army Staff in president Goodluck Jonathan led government. He was elected by President Muhammadu Buhari in advent his office after his retirement as Minister of Interior in Nigeria.
Another person is Kenneth Minimah. Minimah is an Ex-Nigeria Chief of Army Staff. The 62-year-old acted in different capacities in the Nigerian Army until his appointment by President Goodluck Jonathan.
Tukur Burutai is another person to look out for. He is also a retired Nigerian Army Lieutenant General and Ex-Chief of Army Staff elected by Muhammadu Buhari.
Also on the list is Azubuike Ihejirika. He is a retired Nigerian Army Lieutenant General and Ex-chief of Army Staff appointed by President Jonathan, he is a graduate in Quantity Surveying from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
