Kidnapped Traditional Title Holder Freed Upon Payment Of Ransom

Alh. Kabiru Ahmad, the wali who was abducted lately has gotten his freedom after the payment of ransom to his kidnappers.

An anonymous family source told reporters that the Alh. Kabiru was freed after the payment of N20m ransom to secure his release.

The source noted that the ransom was paid to the kidnappers on Sunday in the heart of Malam-Madori bush.

Also, the source added that the Alhaji was released yesterday at about 11:00 pm at Munjibir LGA, Kano State.

ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam, the Police Spokesperson, also confirmed the release of the victim.
