ISWAP attacks Borno
On Monday, the Islamic State’s West Africa Province, ISWAP initiated a major attack in Borno.
Rann, the headquarters of Kala Balge Local Government Area, was ambushed by the terrorists.
The terrorists invaded a military division and other places in the town, situated about 350km away from the Borno capital Maiduguri.
ISWAP warriors invaded the community in huge numbers, shooting sporadically.
Armies, citizens and humanitarian employees scrambled for safety in close by bushes. Many Others ran towards neighbouring Cameroon
They made away with about three Hilux vehicles after setting other trucks and belonging on fire.
The report has it that an underpinning is underway. The Nigerian Air Force, NAF is making aerial backing available for the reinforcement.
