BREAKING: Lagos Assembly Gave Node To Vat, Open Grazing Prohibition Bills

 

On Thursday, the Lagos State law-making body gave a node to the state’s Value Added Tax, VAT and the bill that bans open cattle pasturing.  Mudashiru Obasa, the Speaker of the statehouse assembly authorized Olalekan Onafeko, the acting Clerk, to communicate a clean copy of the document to the Lagos state government for the Governor's assent.  Both bills were enacted after collective votes by the lawmakers at the sitting where they were read for the third time.  The house speaker applauded his colleagues for their enthusiasm to see that the state persists to grow.  'My sincere appreciation to you all for this historic process,' Obasa said.  Distinct public hearings on the bills were held by the house on Wednesday with relevant stakeholders expressing their support.
