Sen. Stella Oduah –Why I Left PDP for APC

A PDP loyalist, Senator Stella Oduah has been reported to have dumped the People’s Democratic Party, PDP to join the All Progressives Congress, APC On Thursday.
The former Aviation Minister, Sen. Oduah, represents Anambra North in the red chamber of the National Assembly.
In a briefing by Salisu Dambatta, the APC Director of Publicity, Oduah was cited saying she renounced the party to co-change the political narrative in the Igbo-speaking region.
‘During the occasion, She said that she united with the APC family as part of the procedure to changing the political narrative in the South-East region of Nigeria,’ said the spokesman.
Sen. Oduah declared that she moved together with her number of followers ‘who have been rejoicing in Anambra State.’
Many governors and the management of the APC, led by Mai Mala Buni, the Caretaker Chairman, welcomed the politician in Abuja on Thursday.
‘The benefits enjoyed by all members of the party, you will enjoy because you will have a waiver,’ promised the Governor of Yobe, Buni.
Atiku Bagudu, the chairman, Progressives Governors’ Forum, lauded her entrance into the APC platform.
Bagudu also noted that Oduah is a national symbol reckon with in a national campaign to produce a bigger Nigeria for the future.
The Imo Governor and Chairman, Anambra Governorship Campaign Council, Hope Uzodimma, forecasted that APC will win the November pool.
Senator Andy Uba, the governorship candidate, Ovie Omo-Agege, the Deputy Senate President, and other stakeholders were in attendance.
