INSECURITY: Ahmed Gumi Discloses Way Out Of Killings, Abductions, Others In Nigeria

Ahmed Gumi, a popular Islamic cleric has observed unity as a major tool in tackling the security problem currently bedeviling the entire country.

The cleric, in a discourse in Ahmadu Bello University on Wednesday tagged ‘Security and National Development,’ said the war is not against any religion or tribe, noting that Nigerians ought to synergize to fastened the security crisis.

Gumi said, ‘Nigeria’s security situation is not about faith or tribe, it is impacting on all of us. Nigerians need synergy to fight this criminals.’

Recall that We reported that the country has experienced a rise in insecurity in the past few days following the development in bandits and other criminal activities, disturbing the peace of the nation.

Armed men believed to be bandits had On Tuesday, raided the Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna, killed  two servicemen and abducted a major.

On Same day in Yelwa Zangam community, Jos North LGA, Plateau State, unknown gunmen raided the community and killed no fewer than 36 residents.
