Turn the table around and endure the process
𝑾𝒊𝒔𝒅𝒐𝒎 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑵𝒊𝒄𝒉𝒆 𝑭𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔
A few years ago, I discovered I was meant for something more than the usual after several encounters.
I attended trainings and joined some instructional Facebook communities where I read series of information on how I could express the new me.
Everything about my reasoning changed in the process, I left many mindsets behind; including people who were still stuck in those mindsets.
That was the first problem I encountered as a new man; watching my closest friends losing complete interest in my new posts on social media. I became very strange to them.
The kinds of the picture I posted and the kinds of caption and content I attached to images doesn’t resonate with them any longer…
At some point, I thought deleting my Facebook account or flushing out my friend’s list would be best for me. I even read some information about people who took that step and became productive with it, at that time.
However, I decided I was not going to lose them cheaply. I placed them as a burden and kept releasing content that would transform their minds.
It was not easy but I endured the process. When I looked back today, I have been able to create several versions of myself among my old friends. Truly, I have lost count of them.
𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟, 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞.
Here are the things you must do to support your braveness.
𝟭. 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀..
My decision may not work for you and vice-versa. Analyze your current network and make your own best decision.
Yours might be to delete your handles, create new ones and accommodate a new set of audiences. Let your decision be in line with your purpose.
𝟮. 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.
The best way to make your decision to grow wings is through content creation.
You get no explanation for anybody as to why you are choosing a different path But let your contents speak on your behalf. Let them communicate your new core values.
Increase your value transactions, through that, your contents will convince those who have looked down on your newness.
𝟯. 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.
Trusting your decision is waiting on your decision for the result to come.
You need to endure all the odds, rebels, hatred, and distractions.
It might look like you have lost your reputation but it’s not lost, it is only missing. Your reputation will soon return in plenty of folds.
Close friends will look down on you and engage in rebellion acts for your sake. You must be strong, they are coming back to your light.
You will watch likes and comments flowing like honey, on your Newsfeed while your post barely gets few engagements. Relax, it’s because you are just starting. Things will soon fall in pleasant places for you.
