A new graduate, Esther Allwell graduated from the renowned University of Benin, where she finished with a first class LLB ( Bachelor in Law) honor.
This placed her as the best graduating student in the Law Faculty as well as the lone first class the faculty produced in the 2020 class
The daughter of a small entrepreneur in Aba, Esther Allwell, emerged the fourth graduate to bag first class in the law Faculty of UNIversity of Benin since 1981.
In her journey through the school, she Served the faculty in various capacity.
She was the Executive Secretary of In Junior Chambers International, JCI, UniBen Collegiate in 2017, she served as the executive secretary.
She was also the Junior Chambers International, UniBen’s president in 2018. Also in 2019, She won the mandate to be lead the International Law Students Association.
By her these engagement, she was able to design and implement lasting social impact programs which attracted different honour and recognitions.
Her ingenuity in the legal field is second to non. Her internship with leading firms such as Bright Network, United Kingdom and Grace Court Solicitor accounts for this.
During her training with the Bright Network and the United Kingdom, she was privileged to receive a first hand training from leading UK firms some of which are Clyde & Co and Herbert Smith Free hills.
Strengthening this, she enjoys an ambassadorial privilege of the National Model United Nations Africa, a place where she served in the capacity of Secretary General Delegate Affairs, Media and Communications.
In same vein, she was the Russian Federation delegate at the AfriMUN conference in 2019 where she adjudged the BEST REPRESENTATIVE for the Social, Cultural and Humanitarian Committee.
According to Esther, greatness for her, is feasible when we endure the pain of difficult work and discipline.
No doubt, this is a great news following her elder brother’s success as he bagged a FIRST CLASS honour in MICROBIOLOGY from same UNIBEN in 2020.
