Man Rapes 15 years old inlaw, Arrested by police in Lagos

Festac Division of Nigeria police, Lagos state command has arrested 43-year-old man,  Jonas Nnubia, for raping his wife’s niece. Jonas Nnubia and his family lives at 1st Avenue, L Close, Festac, Lagos State, Nigeria.

The victim  whose identity is withheld  was taken  to the Nigeria police station in festac by some officials from  Child Protection Network, Lagos State chapter  on the ground that Mr. Jonas Nnubia (the victim’s inlaw) has raped  her often times  and warned her never  to disclose the cruel act to anyone including Jonas Nnubia’s wife who is the aunt to the victim.

The victim has been taken to the hospital for necessary medical examination and attention in order to assist the police in carrying out their discreet Investigation into the matter.

Narrating the  appalling event to newsmen, the state’s police command spokesperson, Mr. Olumuyiwa Adejobi, stated that the lagos state Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has instructed that the suspect be transferred to the  Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the state  for clear investigation and prosecution.
