Unidentified gunmen have reportedly attacked former governor of Central Bank of Nigeria,  Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, in his resident.

It was gathered that the home of Soludo was attacked at  Aguata LGA, during a chatting  session between the former CBN boss and some Isuofia youths at Isuofia village.

The former Governor  of the Nigerian apex bank, CBN is running for the governorship of Anambra State under the  platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

A close  source said two policemen that was  attached to him were reportedly shot dead by the gunmen who shot sporadically.

“There is a serious running for safety in Afuzo area of Isuofia village in  Aguata LGA of Anambra state,” our eye witness says.
