Urua Anwa girl paraded necked for stealing fowl

A  lady in her 20s was paraded necked after being beaten and stripped. The ugly event triggered after the young lady was allegedly accused of stealing a fowl in Akwa Ibom. The unpleasant incident  took place in Urua Anwa, Oruk Anam Local Government Area (LGA)  of Akwaibum state.

From the pictures taken by one of  our reporters,  the woman was seen  with the fowl tied around her back side while being paraded by young  people in the village.
